Join Jacques Heim, Founder and Creative Director of DIAVOLO and Choreographer for Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ as well as diavolo's resident show escape, along with members of the DIAVOLO team for a week of exploration in movement, architecture, and creation.
The DIAVOLO SUMMER Intensive is an open-level, seven-day experience for dancers, movers, and athletes from all backgrounds!
Participants will train inside DIAVOLO’s newly renovated black box performance space, engaging in ensemble work, partnering, and
structure-based training inspired by the company’s newest production, ESCAPE.

Train with the Artists OF DIAVOLO
Work directly with company members and learn from the creative process THAT drivES DIAVOLO’s INNOVATIVE WORK.
Participants will train with structures THAT HAVE BEEN FEATURED GLOBALLY ON STAGE AND TELEVISION ALIKE.COME experience the method that HAS defineD DIAVOLO’s approach to movement and architecture OVER THE LAST 35 YEARS.
This program is an excellent way to connect with our creative team and to be considered for opportunities to perform or teach with DIAVOLO. Many of our current COMPANY MEMBERS began their journey STUDYING OUR METHODS THROUGH OUR INTENSIVES AND/OR OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.

Guidance from DIAVOLO’s Creative Team
Train directly with Jacques Heim and current DIAVOLO company members. Gain insight into the creative and physical process behind our newest production, ESCAPE, and learn how the company builds movement through collaboration, structure, and storytelling.

Work with Our Signature Structures
Experience hands-on training with architectural set pieces straight from OUR EXPANSIVE REPERTOIRE. Discover the foundations of DIAVOLO’s unique movement language, a blend of strength, trust, and imagination, using the same structures that have appeared and inspired performances on stages around the world, from Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ to the 2024 Grammy Awards with Dua Lipa.

Open Studio Showing
The week concludes with an informal in-studio presentation oN AUGUST 15TH, where participants share their work with invited guests, family, and friends. Be among the first to perform inside DIAVOLO’s newly renovated black box theater.

PROFESSIONAL GRADE FOOTAGE
During the week, we will have a videographer come in to record the process, as well as the open-studio showing. This footage will be sent to participants for personal use; including social media, reels, or your next job application!
