We are excited to announce that VOLO, DIAVOLO’s local education and performance company, is currently hiring artists based in Los Angeles. VOLO offers paid opportunities including school assemblies, teaching residencies, workshops, intensives, and local performances. This company provides a platform for artists who are passionate about community engagement and education. Some members use VOLO as a pathway to DIAVOLO’s international touring company, while others focus on the impact of local engagement. We welcome all artists pursuing a variety of professional goals. By joining VOLO, you will immerse yourself in DIAVOLO’s unique movement style, teaching philosophy, and creative process. We challenge our members mentally, emotionally, and physically to foster growth as both artists and educators.

Qualifications:
 

• Experience with partnering techniques (catching, contact improvisation, lifts)

• Background as a teaching artist, especially in K–12 and/or higher education

• Performance experience in acrobatics, gymnastics, modern, ballet, hip hop, breakdancing, parkour and/or other related styles

• Ability to create independently and collaboratively
