When is the Winter Intensive?

The DIAVOLO Winter Intensive runs January 4–10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM each day.

• Doors open at 12:30 PM daily. DAYS BEGIN WITH A check-in and warm-up.

• A dinner break will be included each day.

• Attendance is mandatory for the full week — each day builds on the previous one, and safety depends on consistent participation.
   

If you anticipate needing to miss, arrive late, or leave early, please contact us in advance. Depending on the situation, this may result in being removed from certain sections for safety reasons.

Parking:
Street parking is available outside the Brewery

complex. Please do not park directly in front

of DIAVOLO’s studio doors, as this space is

reserved for staff and load-in.

 

What should I bring?

Come ready to move, learn, and create — these will be full, active days.

Bring:

• Water bottle

• Snacks or dinner

• Long bottoms and a long-sleeve option

• Knee pads

• Shoes with grip (required) — wrestling, indoor training, or gymnastics shoes are ideal
   

There’s a water station, fridge, and microwave available.
Nearby food options include Honey Donuts, Lanza Brothers Deli, and Barbara’s at the Brewery.

 

What will we be doing?

 

You’ll train directly with Jacques Heim and DIAVOLO company members, exploring the DIAVOLO Method through creativity, collaboration, and structure-based movement.

 

The week includes:

• Daily training with DIAVOLO’s creative team

• Structure-based exploration and partnering

• Professional-grade footage from the week

• A final Open Studio Showing on Saturday, January 10 in DIAVOLO’s black box theater. (Friends and family are welcome to attend the Open Studio Showing. RSVP details will be shared later in the week.)

Do you provide housing or meals?

 

Participants are responsible for their own housing, transportation, and meals. DIAVOLO does not provide lodging or travel assistance for this program.

 

How much is this intensive?

 

For the full 7 days of training, access to footage taken throughout the week, and the opportunity to perform at l'espace diavolo, we are asking $700 flat.
