THE DIAVOLO INSTITUTE IS SEEKING DANCERS AND TEACHING ARTISTS

for 2019-2020 season

THE DIAVOLO INSTITUTE

DIAVOLO's education and community engagement branch which utilizes the artistic process of DIAVOLO to educate and inspire our community in Los Angeles and around the country.

The DIAVOLO Institute is made up of 8 professional Dancers/Teaching Artists local to Los Angeles who train under Jacques Heim and his devoted team.

WHY WE NEED YOU

DIAVOLO Teaching Artists play a vital role in the development of our youth. Teaching artists inform, educate, and develop their students’ artistic, social, and cultural skills through the art and discipline of dance. With other DIAVOLO Teaching Artists, you will teach students ranging in age and skill level following the DIAVOLO curriculum in school cafeterias, gyms, and studios. Classes scheduled for this season are in the eclectic style of DIAVOLO made up of many different movement methods. Throughout the season you will work with the DIAVOLO Artistic Director, Director of Education & Community Programs, Tour Company Dancers and your fellow Teaching Artists to further develop your knowledge and skills as an artist and educator. The DIAVOLO Institute movement programs provide youth with a versatile and sound foundation in dance education as well as opportunities to engage creatively and perform. Among other dance forms such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Acrobatics, DIAVOLO's unique style of Architecture in Motion® is an essential component toward building that foundation.

In addition to being a DIAVOLO Teaching Artist you will also have the opportunity to perform as a DIAVOLO Institute Dancer. See Below.
